Happy Cinco de Mayo!
May 5th
Tuesday, May 5th is Global Day of Giving
A day of unity & peace. In response of the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19, the Farrell Foundation made a
special effort to coordinate and utilize online programming. The goal is to maintain the connections & opportunities
for all of our participants/guests affected by dementia along with their care partners. The challenges to maintain a safe & comfortable
environment was our major concern. Please consider a way to support our effort and commitment within the community.

The Foundation appreciates all of our

community interest and support.

Last week, our Friday Creative Connections program hosted an opportunity to each make “hearts” while we worked together via a Zoom session. Everyone used different art materials from around their home. The experience was prompted by the love and hope that each of us are currently expressing. Artist Wendy Schragg began this Facebook response with her vision. Check out her work, others from around the country and ours on: #heartartshare
Music Therapist from M-TEC (Music Therapy Enrichment Center) Maggie McAllister, led a wonderful program for us in last Friday’s Creative Connections
session via Zoom!
In order to continue our online art program, we have put together an art kit filled with art materials for you to use and participate with at home. We will be at the Center, 26633 Detroit Road, on Wednesday, May 6th, and Thursday, May 7th from 9 am to 5 pm. Contact us at 440-414-0434 to make pickup or delivery arrangements.
