Come enjoy our Tuesday program with Jen Nebraska! She will guide all in Seated Chair Yoga. Stretch and move to music selections right from the comfort of your chair. Stay following the program for light refreshments and opportunity to socialize. Virtual programs return.

Sweet Arts Café (TM)

On Wednesday, be with us for lunchtime! Bring a lunch and we’ll offer a beverage and dessert, always something special. Following lunch, Resident Artist Richard Skerl will host the program along with our team of wonderful volunteers. Time to create, support and share. Enjoy the time with others.

Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.

Eddie Lou Bush Art Exhibit

We are pleased to announce a retrospective exhibit of the work of Eddie Lou Bush at the Center! The posthumous exhibition of her watercolors will celebrate her work and creativity.

Eddie Lou and her late husband Lew were long-time participants in Farrell Foundation programs. View the art show M – F, 10 – 5.

The University Heights Library Memory Cafe: Join Ike Brooks and others for a special Baseball Memories Program on Thursday, July 11th at 2pm at the University Heights Library, 13866 Cedar Road, University Heights. The interactive program will highlight the history of the All-Star Game and it’s numerous times held in Cleveland. Enjoy several different activities and special baseball-themed snacks! Check out our spectacular Little Library at the Center under the Magnolia tree! An enormous Thank You to Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre and her vision to enhance the library with fun colors and graphics. Soon it will be filled with books in collaboration with Westlake Porter Public Library. Special thanks to Sarah Bebee, Community Outreach with the library, for helping to stock our Little Library with some new books coming soon. Check it out!!

Volunteer Elizabeth Revy (C) conducts a Easy Tai Chi class for the group in Tuesday’s Heartful Living Cafe!

On Wednesday, Jules Rizzo from Dancing Wheels led everyone in a seated dance program to some lively music!

Storyteller Corinne Jalkanen shared 2 books with the group on Friday. Check out this spectacular pop-up book about America!

Care giver Maribel and participant Bob begin their art projects about circles in Friday’s Celebrate the Arts session, which was led by Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre. Corinne also introduced a book about circles.
