Farrell Foundation Graphic Designer Linda Santanen participates on a daily trivia website called Freekibble. Every time you answer a question, whether the answer is right or wrong, they donate food and other pet supplies to shelters! They have recently encouraged participants to upload their pet’s photos and they post a different one every day. So Linda did that and on Thursday, December 21st, there was her cat Jezzie!

If you would like to help shelter pets for free, go to:

A BIG THANK YOU!!

The Farrell Foundation is most grateful for a generous gift from the Lakewood Elks! The Foundation was presented with a financial gift, by members of the organization. Also receiving gifts were 7 other local charitable groups making a difference in the community. The gift will help maintain many of our weekly programs that we offer at no

cost to our participants.

Happy Holidays!

Here are the wonderful spoons created by Dr. Charlie in his Cognitive Workshop. Working hard everyday creating these spoons has kept Charlie connected to the world outside of his world of Dementia. His handmade spoons are dishwasher safe and can be used everyday. Love them and use them with your family. As you do so, they continue to give love and joy to others.

Nadine Kodysz played her violin for the Memory Cafe final presentation of 2023 at the Lee Road Cleveland Heights Library this month! She played some festive Holiday music and it was

enjoyed by all!

Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre recently went on a trip to San Antonio, Texas and enjoyed a colorful Christmas light display on their River Walk! This sign made her think of the joyful programs that the Center provides!

Participants Hilde (L) and daughter Judy (R) and caregiver Jackie (Back L) and participant Richard (Back R) enjoy the music and singing along with Holiday songs performed by Music Therapists Beckie Tweedle and Pianist Glenn Sonoda in Tuesday’s HeARTful Living Cafe! Judy is holding Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree!

Here’s Beckie Tweedle playing her flute while Glenn Sonoda looks on for the moment, taking a brief break from the piano.
