Mindfulness Through

the Arts: Mondays 2pm – 3pm or by Appointment

An arts practice for individuals affected by the loss of a loved one or for someone just needing a break from being that special care partner. A time for arts activities; individually designed, conversation, relaxation and support. Refreshments offered.

Gentle Moments

A special sensory program to guide a small group or and individual couple through a meditative practice. Soothing words and soft music and to spend time together at the Center. Guided by a professional in meditation. Day of the week and time schedule personally arranged. Please contact us for further details about either program at 440-414-0343.

Join us for lunch at noon today on Wednesday. Brown bag your lunch and we’ll offer a beverage and dessert. At 12:45, Sara Lawrence-Sucato from Dancing Wheels will host their monthly Move 2 Connect program that includes moving, stretching and dancing form the comfort of

your chair.

Celebrate the Arts

Friday, October 27th

Be with us in costume on Friday for our Annual Halloween Celebration! First, we welcome back Gaile & Joe Schafer and Gaile’s creative and spectacular hand-carved pumpkins. Gaile will share some of her extensive collection. Following the Schafer’s presentation, Storyteller Corinne Jalkanen and Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre will host a special Halloween activity related to the story “Sleepy Hollow”. Stay and enjoy the afternoon with some Halloween snacks, desserts and beverages.

Art Exhibit!

Artist David Noss

Stop in the Center and visit David Noss’ Art Exhibit! The work of Abstract Expressionistic pieces is on display until November 16th. Plus David has graciously donated two pieces of art to the benefit of the Foundation. Currently, we have a raffle and your opportunity to bid on the artwork pictured below.

1 Ticket = $5.00 5 Tickets = $20.00. Visit in-person or bid by going to our donate tab for a one-time donation. Specify which piece(s) you are bidding on and submit.

Cleveland Heights Library Lee Road Branch Memory Cafe

Thursday, November 9th, 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Our two Resident Artists Lee Ann Eyre and Richard Skerl will host the program with a special art activity creating hand-made scrapbook pages for special family or individual photos. Enjoy the Cafe experience along with refreshments and time to socialize.
