A great and healthy way to exercise! Join a group at the Westlake Community Park. Located between Hilliard Blvd.

& Center Ridge Road. Address:

Meet at the Gazebo near the lake and adjacent parking at 11am. Walk or move along the lake, in the park to your ability and comfort level. Meet back up at the Gazebo. Please bring snacks and a beverage. Time to socialize. Join us weekly at this time. Weather Permitting.

We will not meet if it’s ABOVE 85 degrees or if there is rain.

Memory Cafe at the University Heights Library! Join us at the library for our monthly program on Thursday, July 11th at 2pm at the University Heights Library, 13866 Cedar Road, University Heights. Today, members of SABR, Society for American Baseball Research, will provide a variety of fun and special activities related to the All Star Game. Enjoy time to relive one of America’s favorite sports and events. Special Baseball snacks and beverages provided. Program coordinated by Ike Brooks and others from SABR. Wear your favorite baseball cap or jersey.

Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

Eddie Lou Bush Art Exhibit: Through July 22nd.

We are pleased to announce a retrospective exhibit of the work of Eddie Lou Bush at the Center! The posthumous exhibition of her watercolors will celebrate her work and creativity.

Eddie Lou and her late husband Lew were long-time participants in Farrell Foundation programs. View the art show M – F, 10 – 5.

Rotary Art Show

Saturday, July 27th

Westlake Porter Public Library

We have a couple of events that require the support of volunteers. We will be hosting a booth at the Rotary Art Show on Saturday, July 27th. We need some volunteers to welcome visitors to our booth for two hour shifts.

Please contact us at the Center if you have some time to participate that day and meet many individuals & families from the community. We will have art on display, literature about the Foundation and Luise Easton will be providing Face Painting for the children and youth.

The Sensory Garden is in bloom at the Center! Come and check out the butterfly bush and all the other blooming delights!

Volunteers Joanne (L) and Janis (C) guide participant Robin in the art project on Wednesday, which was depicting fireworks in relation to the 4th of July Holiday. The session was led by Resident Artist Richard Skerl.
