The Foundation extends it’s sympathy to Linda Ruhe regarding the recent loss of her dear husband Tom. Tom passed away in January. Tom & Linda especially enjoyed our outdoor exercise program here is Westlake. For further information, please contact the Foundation.

We are also sharing the loss of a very special participant, Dottie Glass, wife of Richard Glass. Dottie passed away on February 25th. Dottie greatly enjoyed all programs with her daughter Erin, brother Jim and niece Mary. Our deepest sympathy is extended to their entire family. We will miss her charm, vibrant smile and vibrant sense of humor.

A special thank you to all that attended and were

involved in Sunday’s performance of “Yes, And…”

at Clague Playhouse in Westlake.

Our gratitude goes out to actress, writer and director Anne McEvoy along with her cast of Elaine Feagler, John Polk, and Lisa Wiley. Ninety guests registered to attend the performance and the post production conversation with Dr. Charlie Farrell regarding Adventures in Communication with Loved Ones with Dementia. Special thanks to the Ohio Arts Council & Cuyahoga Arts & Culture for their grant support, Clague Playhouse for hosting the performance with kind support from the Normandy Senior Living and Kim Zdanowicz for providing refreshments. Prior to the performance, guests were asked to fill out a survey. We will be reaching out in a few weeks to follow up with a post survey. We are grateful to Sarah Soper and her effort in gathering this important information. In addition to the Performance, the Foundation has an art exhibit in the Clague Playhouse Lobby of work created by participants and care partners in the Foundation program. The Exhibit coordinated by Richard Skerl runs through April and can be enjoyed during box office hours or prior to performances.
