Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.

New Cleveland Heights Library

Memory Cafe!

Any friends or family that might live on the east side? Check out our new fall sessions in Cleveland Heights! We partner with the Cleveland Heights – University Heights Libraries in hosting a monthly Memory Cafe. The next session is Thursday, November 14th at 2pm. A special program presented by Lisa Rainsong as she shares her images of birds in nature and their beautiful songs will be experienced at the library. 2800 Noble Road in Cleveland Heights.

For several years, participants from the program enjoyed an early dinner at Houlihan’s. Anyone interested in revisiting this option? Let’s plan an outing!

Nature Photography Exhibit!

Exhibiting are two Foundation volunteer’s photography. Enjoy the nature photography of DeeAnn Rose and Rev. Dave Schantz. DeeAnn was a former staff member of the Foundation and each year’s Gala photographer. Rev. Dave is a regular Wednesday volunteer. Come and see the show Monday through Friday from 10 – 5pm! Their work is for sale and proceeds benefit the Foundation.

An Abundance of Joy Gala!

An Abundance of Joy was filled with energy and excitement on Saturday, October 26th at Avon Oaks Country Club. The special evening brought together the community to support the work and mission of the Farrell Foundation. We are most grateful for the kindness and generosity of those attending along with so many unable to be at the event, but made significant contributions. Our dear friends Sue & Dan O’Neil, participants in Farrell Foundation programs, spotlighted the strength and dynamic of our programs. Sue’s words were spoken from the heart and she eloquently shared the positive impact of the programs on her husband at this point in ther life.

Lindsay Buckingham, Special Projects Reporter from WKYC Channel 3, was the MC for the annual Gala. She welcomed everyone to the event.

Foundation participants Sue and Dan O’Neil shared their Personal Reflection of the impact of the program on their lives. The guests were touched by Sue’s words and examples.

Board Member and Gala Committee Member Betsy Wallace and Gala Committee Member Marilyn Krock encouraged guest to bid on the successful Restaurant Tree Raffle.
