Be with us on Tuesday as Storyteller Kathy Strawser joins us for a TimeSlips (TM) program. Kathy will guide all in creating a story together using some fun and intriguing photographs as inspiration. Kathy is a certified TimeSlips (TM) facilitator. Join

in-person or virtually. In-person guests are welcome to stay for some great refreshments following the program.

Bring a brown bag lunch and come enjoy the history of Baseball Bobbleheads on Wednesday! Our friends from SABR, Society for American Baseball Research, will share some great information and have other activities planned.

Ike Brooks, SABR member & Farrell Foundation Board Member, will host the program. We welcome Gene Petonic, an avid collector of Bobbleheads to share many with the group.

Wear your favorite baseball attire: caps, jerseys, etc.!

Renaissance Photography Exhibit!

Let’s recognize two special women! Both Nadine Kodysz, our Community Outreach Coordinator and a violinist, and pianist Ruth Williams, have their portraits showcased in a wonderful art exhibit at the Westlake Community Services Center. Professional Photographer Katie Garlock recognized these extraordinary individuals and others in a photography exhibit titled: “Renaissance”. Come and see this very special show!

New Cleveland Heights Library Classes!

Any friends or family that might live on the east side? Check out our new fall sessions in Cleveland Heights! We partner with the Cleveland Heights – University Heights Libraries in hosting a monthly Memory Cafe. Our first session in September will be held at the newly renovated Noble Road Branch. The next session is Thursday, September 12th at 2pm. A special activity will be experienced in a cafe atmosphere in the beautiful library at 2800 Noble Road in Cleveland Heights. Pass the word!!

Celebrate the Arts (TM)

& Support Group Program

Friday, September 13th

at 2pm

Be with us on Friday for two options. Our monthly Support Group for family care partners and an arts enrichment program. The Support Group is led by Sally Ollerton, CLFF Board Member, and SHARE Facilitator Kathy Kassimatis. The other option is to come enjoy a program about amusement parks. Haven’t been to Cedar Point in a while? Well today, Community Outreach Coordinator Sarah Bebee from Westlake’s Porter Public Library will host this fun and enjoyable program right here at the Center! Then all reconvene for refreshments following the program.

New Photography Exhibit!

Exhibiting are two Foundation volunteer’s photography. Enjoy the nature photography of DeeAnn Rose and Rev. Dave Schantz. DeeAnn was a former staff member of the Foundation and each year’s Gala photographer. Rev. Dave is a regular Wednesday volunteer. Come and see the show Monday through Friday from 10 – 5pm! Their work is for sale and proceeds benefit the Foundation.

Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.
