Start the New Year Right!

Welcome the New Year with some healthy Chair Yoga hosted by expert Jen Nebraska. Be with her on Tuesday as she guides all in an hour of Yoga exercise right from the comfort of your chair. Stay for refreshments following the program. Join in-person or virtually.

Wednesday, January 8th

Lunch: 11am

Program: Noon

Join us on Wednesday for lunchtime. We kick off the New Year by hosting lunch with pizza & salad, plus some special desserts and a beverage. At noon, members of SABR, Society for American Baseball Research, coordinated by Ike Brooks, & Co-Hosted by Gretchen Denaro & Joe Shaw. Join the fun and have a great time! No virtual program today.

Friday, January 10th

at 2pm

Spend Friday afternoon at the Center as Sally Ollerton, CLFF Board Member and Kathy Kassimatis co-host our Friday afternoon Support Group. An alternate program in our multi-purpose space will be coordinated by Resident Artist Richard Skerl. Richard will guide all in a special art activity related to our January Theme – The Beauty of Winter. Please join us for refreshments following both programs and time to socialize. Virtual program available for the art session only.

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.

We would like to share information regarding the upcoming Memorial Service for Jim Shields: The Memorial service will be held on January 18th at 1pm at the Avenbury Lakes Lodge at 35400 Middleton Rd., Avon, OH 44011

We extend our deepest sympathy to John Andes and family on the recent passing of John’s dear wife, Janice. Janice greatly enjoyed so many of our programs with her husband John and professional caregiver, Clare Griffith. We will miss her charm and pleasant disposition with all.
