Heartful Living Café (TM)

Tuesday, May 12th

at 2pm

Join current artist Kathe Lisy, whose work is on exhibit here

at the Center, for a special art activity. Kathe will guide all

step-by-step in the art experience. Enjoy light refreshments following the program.

Musicale

Tuesday Evening, May 12th

at 7pm

Join musicians Nadine Kodysz and Ruth Williams as they host a special one hour performance called “Musicale”. They will play a variety of pieces including a Sonatina by Schubert.

Nadine has prepared some special home made desserts to also enjoy.

Sweet Arts Cafe (TM)

Wednesday, May 13th

Lunch at 11am

Program at Noon

Start with lunchtime at 11am. Bring a brown bag lunch and we will offer a beverage and dessert. Following lunch, the Foundation’s Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre will host an art activity to embrace everyone’s creative side. The activity is often related to the month’s theme.

We will host May’s Pet Therapy program with several special friends. Cathy Pietroski (L) will return with her dog Gracie and we welcome Tricia Sedlak with her two dogs Cooper and Oakley.

Experience the fun and energy

of staff from Mixed Melody Music on Friday, led by

Jessica Wallner. A variety of music activities related to the theme: “Spring Awakening”.

In Monday’s Mindfulness Through the Arts, Art Therapist Linda Nintcheff (L), participants Linda (C) and Janis (R), begin working on an art project.

Jen Nebraska (L) begins her popular and fun Chair Yoga class in Tuesday’s Heartful Living Cafe! Participant Des and caregiver Candy join in!

Sarah Beebe, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Westlake Porter Public Library, did another excellent presentation of pop culture! This time it was Cowboys and Westerns! The program was during Wednesday’s Sweet Arts Cafe.

Participants Francoise and Bill came in for the Cowboys and Westerns program and Bill really got into the cowboy spirit!

On Thursday, a nice group joined Jerry Devis for a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art in the Thursday’s Treasures session!
