Westlake Porter Public Library,

We offer our monthly Support Group hosted by Tracy Heberle and Gretty Myers for family care partners, at the library. CLFF Board Member Sally Ollerton and Volunteer David Hopka

co-host a support groups for those with early stage dementia. New participants contact the Foundation at 440-414-0434 to learn more about the program and any accommodation.

PROGRAM 2:

Our alternative Tuesday program will be hosted by Elizabeth Revy. She will guide all in an Easy Chair Tai Chi session. The comfortable exercise session is carefully directed by Elizabeth. Following the program, there are light refreshments.

Sweet Arts Cafe (TM)

Wednesday, May 27th

Lunch at 11am

Program at Noon

Join us for at lunchtime at the Center. Bring a brown bag lunch and we’ll offer a special dessert and beverage. At noon, Sara Lawrence-Sucato from Dancing Wheels will host our monthly seated dance program. Her session Move 2 Connect will engage all in a comfortable and safe manner.

Grief Support Group (TM)

We host a monthly Grief Support Group for individuals who have lost a family member affected by dementia. Gretty Myers & Bonnie Cooper coordinate this very special group. You are welcome to join all for lunch following the session at Houlihan’s in Westlake.

Music With Nadine

Music at the Westlake Community Services Center

Enjoy a music program by

Nadine Kodysz, who will perform a variety of classical pieces.

Lunch can be enjoyed at the Center in their Cafe which

offers a variety of choices!

Thursday’s Treasures (TM)

Be with us for one of our special Thursday offerings as Kathy Strawser will host a TimeSlips (TM) session. She will guide all through a series of beautiful open-ended questions related to a special photo or work of art. All will help to create a unique story together! One to treasure and enjoy. Please stay for refreshments following

Play Ball! A Baseball Memories Program

Join us on Wednesday, June 10th at Noon for a baseball game with the Lake Erie Crushers VS the Evansville Otters! Please make your reservations with us by Friday, May 29th. Let us know the number of tickets and t-shirt size. Price of Admission includes 1. Lunch, 2. T-Shirt, 3. Other Special Items, 4. Fun!

Ike Brooks will host a SABR, Society for American Baseball Research Table with some activities for the crowd!

Kathe Lisy Art Show!

Come see the work of Artist Kathe Lisy at the Center for Artful Living! Enjoy her wonderful and colorful mixed-media works

of art. Each will set you in the mood for spring and/or summer!

Proceeds from the sale of the works benefit the Farrell Foundation. Enjoy the art exhibit a bit longer….now through

Mixed Melody Music led a fun music-filled program!

On Tuesday, Billy Coakley’s popular drum/music program had lots of folks on the dance floor!

Also enjoying Billy’s program seated are participants Marjorie (L), husband Des, and caregiver Candy! Other familiar faces are in the background!

In Wednesday’s Sweet Arts Cafe, participants worked on creating some spring flowers! Here’s participant Kay getting a bit of help from volunteer Joanne. The session was led by Art Therapist Linda Nintcheff.
