Violinist Nadine Kodysz and pianist Ruth Williams will play some wonderful music at noon

at the Westlake Community Services Center, between Hilliard and Center Ridge Road in Westlake. Please join them for the free program, along with the Center’s cafe for lunch.

Corinne Jalkanen! Corinne will share a winter story and a variety of props to correspond to the story. Remain for refreshments following the program. Join both in-person and virtually.

Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.

Photography Exhibit!

Dennis Wert – Westlake Photographer

Member of the Cleveland Photographic Society

The Carolyn L. Farrell Foundation at the Center for Artful Living welcomes photographer Dennis Wert to its gallery.

The exhibit will continue through Friday, January 31st.

Dennis’s travel landscape photography captures the breathtaking beauty of natural environments near and far, each image telling a story of place, mood, and wonder. Through his lens, landscapes transform into vivid tales of adventure, inviting viewers to experience diverse terrains and hidden gems firsthand.

Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 9 – 5, except the week of Christmas.

OTHER NEWS

Participants enjoyed a fun program presented by Sarah Beebe, Community Outreach Coordinator for Westlake Porter Public Library, on Big Band music and the 1940’s era.

Dr. Charlie is contemplating and creating a work of art with the guidance of Jerry Devis in Monday’s Mindfulness Through the Arts program.
