Option One: is an Arts Practice guided by Art Therapist Linda Nintcheff, who will host a fun art activity for care partners during the afternoon. Some special time just for yourself! Why not stop in?

Option Two: is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games

with others at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have

some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments.

Heartful Living Café (TM) & Support Group

Our monthly support group for care partners and individuals with early cognitive memory issues will be held at Westlake Porter Public Library, 27333 Center Ridge Road. For new participants interested in attending the Support Group please contact Sally Ollerton at the Farrell Foundation: 440-414-0434. Sally hosts the session for individuals diagnosed with early mild cognitive issues. Tracy Heberle and Gretty Myers facilitate the Support Group for Family Care Partners.

Elizabeth Revy, Tai Chi Expert, will guide a group for a comfortable chair exercise program at the Center for Artful Living at the same time. Refreshments will follow the session.

Sweet Arts Cafe (TM)

Wednesday, March 25th

Lunch at 11am

Program at Noon

Join us for lunchtime at the Center! Enjoy the opportunity to be with others at this time of day. Bring a brown bag lunch and we’ll offer a dessert and beverage. Then at noon, Sara Lawrence-Sucato from Dancing Wheels will join us for her monthly Move 2 Connect program. This is a fun, seated chair dance session. Always blended with a variety of music and songs.

Grief Support Group

Thursday, March 26th

at 2pm

Individuals experiencing grief and loss of a family member associated with dementia are invited to our monthly Grief Support Group at the Center for Artful Living. This important session is hosted by professionals Gretty Myers & Bonnie Cooper. The group follows the session with lunch at Houlihan’s.

Join us for a special outing on Thursday afternoon to tour the Cleveland Botanical Gardens 2026 Orchid Show! Either meet in University Circle in the Botanical Gardens Lobby at 2pm or groups may carpool from the Center. Cost is $21.00 per person. Meet between 12:45pm & 1pm to drive to University Circle. Parking garage at the Botanical Garden. Parking Fee: $12.00. Estimated return time to arrive back at the

Center is 3:45 – 4pm.

Celebrate the Arts (TM)

Come enjoy the afternoon at the Center when Storyteller Corinne Jalkanen will share the book: “Rechenka’s Eggs” by Patricia Polacco. And Resident Artist Lee Ann Eyre will follow with an Art Experience for all to enjoy! Stay for some light refreshments following the program.

Dan O’Neil

We extend our deepest sympathy to Sue O’Neil and family regarding the loss of Sue’s dear husband and the family’s special father. Dan passed away on St. Patrick’s Day. He was a kind person and gentleman that greatly enjoyed each of the Foundation’s programs, along with Sally Ollerton’s Support Group. We will miss Dan greatly. The Memorial Service for Dan will be on Saturday, April 11th at Dover Center Congregational Church in Westlake.

Art Show Ending Soon!

Just a few more weeks of the current exhibit! Enjoy the wonderful exhibition and opportunity to purchase a special work for your home or as a gift. Proceeds benefit the Farrell Foundation and the U.S. Marines. Art show ends at the end of March. Stop in M – F, 9 – 5.

Robert Kowaleski

Robert began his photographic journey fifteen years ago after joining the Cleveland Photographic Society. His work focuses on forgotten places, landscape, black & white imagery, and bird photography. Drawn to quiet moments shaped by time and light, his photographs reflect memory, resilience, and the traces time leaves behind.

Mike Lonsdale

As a seasonal worker in our National Parks and Forests, Mike Lonsdale captures the essence of these national treasures through his nature photography. He uses his photography to promote his love of nature and conservation efforts.

Hal Mitcheltree will be hosting an online Farrell Foundation Photo Gallery. The first of it’s kind, is to encourage all from the Foundation to participate. Images will be entered and posted online. Hal’s first theme will be: “Spring Flowers”. Simply start taking some images on your phones. Further details will be announced soon, as to how and where to send the images. Think Spring!
