Walk & Move In The Park (TM)

A great and healthy way to exercise! Join a group at the Westlake Community Park. Located between Hilliard Blvd.

& Center Ridge Road. Address:

Meet at the Gazebo near the lake and adjacent parking at 11am. Walk or move along the lake, in the park to your ability and comfort level. Meet back up at the Gazebo. Please bring snacks and a beverage. Time to socialize. Weather Permitting.

We will not meet if below 45 degrees or above 85 degrees or if there’s rain. Join us weekly at this time.

A unique opportunity in the community. Professional Storyteller Kathy Strawser will guide all in a TimeSlips (TM) group creative writing experience! Participants obtain ideas from a unique photograph or work of art. Snacks and beverages provided.

Celebrate the Arts (TM)

& Support Group

Friday, May 10th

at 2pm

On Friday afternoon, we host two opportunities at the Center. Our monthly Friday Support Group hosted by Foundation Board member Sally Ollerton and SHARE Coordinator Kathy Kassimatis will be held in our Music Studio. During that time Resident Artist Richard Skerl & Linda Nintcheff will host an art enrichment activity in our multi-purpose space. Our afternoon is enjoyed by many and we ask volunteers and staff, if physically able, to park in adjacent lots. Virtual guests may join for the art program at 2pm.

Mindfulness Through the Arts (TM)

A special program for the care partner with two options! One choice is to be engaged in a guided art practice led by a professional artist. Option two is the opportunity to enjoy playing some games at the Center! A great time for yourself and to have some fun and engage the mind and enjoy some refreshments. In-person only.

*New Art Show!* The Art of Eddie Lou Bush

We are pleased to announce a retrospective exhibit of the work of Eddie Lou Bush will be opening soon at the Center! The posthumous exhibition of her watercolors will celebrate her work, spring and Mother’s Day. A special reception will beheld Friday evening, May 24th from 6pm – 8pm at the Center for Artful Living.

Eddie Lou and her late husband Lew were long-time participants in Farrell Foundation programs.
